There's a process to go through to get a car

You and your therapist or paediatrician will need to fill out an application form. once approved, our team will ask for more specific information about your child's needs and abilities before measure-up day comes around

things you'll be asked on the application form

• Details about  yourself – such as your occupation, location, contact details

• Child's details – including age, and medical condition

• Details of your child's level of mobility — how they move

• Cognitive ability – how well can your child understand things

• Does your child already use a powered mobility advice

 

Some of the THINGS we will ASK before measure-up day

• Therapy goals you would like to facilitate throught the Gobabygo car

• Head control and level of postural support required

• Ideal placement for the 'throttle' switch

• Hand function (switching ability, grasp and release)

• Cognition (ability to understand instructions, perceptual concepts, etc.)
